  Albert Brighton PRESTON, May 16 Albert Brighton, well-known Preston resident died at his home, 429 Duke St., late last night at the age of 85 years. During 45 years of residence in the community, he had formed a large circle of friends. He was born in Wilmot Township. Employed with the Grand River and Lake Erie and Northern Railway until his retirement in October last year, he was a conductor on the Galt to Kitchener run and also served on the express car for many years. He was a member at the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Following his retirement from service with the railway last October, he was employed with the Canadian Buffalo Sled Co., until suffering a heart attack two weeks ago from which he failed to recover. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Lorinda Anderson; two sisters, Mrs. Allan Stager, of Kitchener and Mrs. Mervin Bechtel of New Dundee and a brother Hymen Brighton of Toronto. The body will rest at the Stager-Pass Funeral home until Sunday at 1: 30 p.m., then at Knox Presbyterian Church for the funeral at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Preston.
