  Mrs. Evelyn Bassam Mrs. Evelyn Bassam of Kitchener, died on Sunday of last week at the age of 55. The former Evelyn Norman, Mrs. Bassam was born in Nithburg, Ont., and was a daughter of Mrs. Charles Norman and the late Mr. Norman. She lived in Kitchener for 37 years and worked as a practical nurse. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and of the Moose Lodge. Surviving, besides her mother, are three sons, Mark and Keith, both of Kitchener, and Kenneth of Rupert, Que., six brothers, Wilfred (Smoky) of Toronto, Fraser and Joseph, both of Wellesley, Harold of New Hamburg, Ralph of Kitchener, and Richard of Preston; four sisters, Mrs. Otto (Miriam) Zettel and Mrs. Albert (Violet) Stroh, both of Wellesley, Mrs, Robert (Harriet) Allinghan of Clarkson and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Saltzman of Rexdale, and three grandchildren.
