  George E. Grant WESTMINSTER-George Edwin Grant, 97, of 3243 Murkle Road, Westminster, died Saturday night at the Bent Nursing and Convalescent Center in Reisterstown following an extended illness. Born in Canada, he served in the British Army. Before his retirement, he was employed as a horse trainer. His wife, Lydia Gamber Grant, died in 1962. Surviving are a stepson, Norville Schwartz of Baltimore; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Everil Ruminer of Westminster; a brother- in-law, Ivan Gamber of Baltimore; and two step- grandchildren. The funeral and burial will be private. Friends The family will receive friends at the Thomas D. Flecther and Son Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, this evening from 7 to 9.
