  JOHN STUART GRANT Waterloo Chronicle-A promising young life was prematurely ended in the death of John Stuart Grant at the Kitchener and Waterloo Hospital, Friday, March 27, in his 14th year. The unfortunate boy was in good health and attended school regularly up to Monday of this week when he came home ill. He was operated on for appendicitis that day and appeared to be progressing favorably but complications set in resulting in his death. His loss is mourned by his sorrowing parents, who only recently came to Waterloo from Barrie, four sisters and one brother. One brother predeceased him last year. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon from the residence of his parents, 50 Peppler St., to Mount Hope cemetery. Barrie Examiner Newspaper
