Notes |
- William H. Brubacher, "second son of Jacob M. Brubacher, was born near St. Jacobs, Ontario, February 16th, 1862. He, in company with Mr. Wm. H. Snyder, is engaged in the St. Jacobs creamery in manufacturing butter. The company, under the name of Brubacher & Snyder, was established some years ago. In 1891 they manufactured 90,000 pounds; in 1892, 147,000 pounds; in 1893, 130,000 pounds, and this year, 1894, will amount to same as last year although we have had such a dry season. He was married, March 2nd, 1892, to Jessie, daughter of John and Sophia (Krohn) Chapman. They reside in St. Jacobs and have one child, Nellie, born January 8th, 1893."
