  MATTHEWS, Leila Formerly of 138 Kitchener Road, Cambridge (P), at the Golden Years Nursing Home, Tuesday, August 22, 1978, Leila Hepburn, beloved wife of the late Arthur Matthews. Predeceased by one son, Ronald, in the Second World War. Mrs. Matthews was born in Cambridge and lived here all her life. An active and faithful member of St. Paul's United Church, Preston, where she taught Sunday School most of her life and was a leader of the Golden Rule Bible Class. Mrs. Matthews is survived by one brother, Ernest Rendall, of Cambridge. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P), where funeral services will be conducted, Thursday, at 4 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
