At Preston Springs Gardens, Cambridge (Preston), Tuesday, May 10, 1977, Ida Kleindinst, beloved wife of the late Frederick Stahlschmidt, in her 98th year. Dear mother of Janet (Mrs. Jacob Bregman) of Cambridge and Frederick of Welland. Mrs. Stahlschmidt was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and came to Cambridge (Preston) in 1904. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge (Preston). Mrs. Stahlschmidt organized the first women's auxiliary of the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary in 1913, was president for 19 years, and continued to take active part in auxiliary work. Also surviving are five grand-children and six great-grand-children. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, for funeral service Thursday, at 2 p.m. Interment Preston cemetery.
