  MRS. J. SCOTT HOGG By Record Correspondent PRESTON, Feb. 8. - A prominent Preston resident for 40 years and a leader in community activities for many years, Mrs. J. Scott Hogg, 71, wife of Dr. J. Scott Hogg, retiring Preston M.O.H., died at her home today. She had been ill several years. Mrs. Hogg was born at Tyrone, Ont., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Barber. Before coming to Preston she lived at Bowmanville, Coburg and Brampton. She was a graduate of Victoria University, Toronto. For many years deceased was president of the Red Cross Society. She was one of the original members of the V.O.N. board of managers and was president of the Women's Missionary Society of Knox Presbyterian Church and later the United Church. Surviving are her husband, five children, Mrs. Stanley Hall of Wingham, Marion of Preston, Prof. Frank of Richmond Hill, Mrs. Arthur Mosser of Toronto and Flight-Lieut. John Hogg, M.D., of McLeod. Alta., and six grandchildren. A brother, Dr. H. L. Barber of Toronto, predeceased her. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Kitchener Daily Record Thu, Feb 05, 1942 Page 15
