  FALK, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" (nee Leis)-Peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, July 6, 2018. Betty of Wellesley in her 88th year. Beloved wife for 70 years to Clarence. Loving mother of Ron (Norma) of Wellesley, Rick (Pam) of Wellesley, Larry (Mary Jane) of Wellesley and Linda (Stuart McMaster) of New Hamburg. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sister Nancy Taylor, sisters-in law Dorothy Bockelkamp and Lucille Wendland. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Iona Leis (nee Shantz), her great-granddaughter Kiera Lynn Wagler, sister Norma Sheppard, brother Robert Leis (Grace) and brother-in law Frank Wendland. Betty was a quiet, humble lady who was devoted to her husband and family. She was a member of Zion United Church in New Hamburg and enjoyed going out with all her friends from Wellesley. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A family interment service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in New Hamburg at a later date. The family appreciates all the care and attention paid to Betty by the Nurses and Doctors on the 6th floor of St. Mary's Hospital.
