    • RON "FORD" CRESSMAN 1948 - 2007 Passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 59 years. Loving husband of Donna (nee Duncan). Devoted brother of Terry Cressman (Brenda), Glenn Cressman, Karen Cressman and Kim Groh (Kevin). He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, Hilda Duncan; brother-in-law Ralph Duncan (Lillian); and sisters-in-law, Bernice Suggitt (Ken), Lynjean Gorman, Adele Dickson (Bryan), Arlene Turner (Milton), Marjorie McMullan (Brian) and Rossie Rawn (Barry). Lovingly remembered by 27 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy Cressman; sister-in-law, Colleen Cressman; father-in-law, George Duncan; and brother-in-law Ed Gorman. Ford worked for many years with his brother in the structural steel industry. He then was employed with Lear until his illness. In his spare time he was an active member with the Waterloo Chippers Athletic Club, where he served as treasurer, and played hockey and baseball. He also enjoyed bowling, playing cards and horseshoes. Ron's unique sense of humour will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of Ford's life will be held at the Edelweiss Banquet Hall, 600 Doon Village Rd., Kitchener, on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at 2 p.m. Special thanks to the nurses on the 7th floor at St. Mary's Hospital for their great care of Ron during his time there. In living memory of Ford, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
