  Mrs. Henry Garwood PRESTON, Jan. 26. Ailing for the past week and a half and confined to hospital for past two days, Hannah Richards, wife of Henry Alfred Garwood, Preston, died in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, early this morning. The late Mrs. Garwood had been a resident of Preston for 29 years and during that time had formed many friends in the district. She was in her 75th year. Born in England the deceased came to Canada as a child. From 1907 to 1933, she made her home in Preston. In 1933 she moved to Kitchener where she resided for two years and then lived in Toronto and Stratford, returning to Preston, three years ago with her husband and residing on Queen St., since that time. She attended St. John's Anglican Church, Preston. Surviving are, her husband and two sons, Alfred Garwood, Toronto, and Roy Garwood, Stratford. Two grandchildren also survive. The late Mrs. Garwood is resting at the Stager-Pass Ltd., funeral home, Preston, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday, at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
