Suddenly, in Plattsville on Tuesday May 1st, 2001 at the age of 86 years. Formerly of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
Cherished Ma of Joe MacNeil (Del) of Lindsey, Francie Armstrong (Warren) of Norton, Ma., Teresa McNeil of Dominion, N.S., Danny (Glenda) of Scarborough, Tony of Markdale, Maureen MacKinnon (Allan) of Plattsville, Terry McNeil and companion Georgia of Attleboro, Ma., Billy (Elizabeth) of Toronto, Georgie (Debi) of Lower Sacville, N.S., Louie (Susan) of Streetsville, Anne Marie Rancourt (Guy) of Alton, Bobby (Susie) of Ajax.
Loving Grams of 34 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her sister, Elsie MacKinnon of Cambridge.
Predeceased by her husband Daniel McNeil, daughter Florence Jean, in infancy, son Roddy and son-in-law Robert McNeil.
Friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, (at Westmount Rd.), 743-8900, Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 55 Driftwood Dr., on Saturday, May 5th, 20001 at 2 p.m.
Interment to follow at Williamsburg cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
