    • EBY, Alton Formerly of 1320 Duke St., Cambridge, at the Golden Years Nursing Home, Saturday, Dec. 15, 1979, in his 83rd year, Alton Eby, beloved husband of Viola Dargel.

      Dear father of Roy and Kenneth of Cambridge. Also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      Mr. Eby was born in Bridgeport and had been a resident of Cambridge (P), for a great number of years. Veteran of the 111th Battalion First World War. Life member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by his first wife Ila Johnson, four brothers and two sisters.

      Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, for private funeral service Monday. Interment in Preston cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
