TAVISTOCK-A former Hespeler man, Benjamin McGregor, 72, of Adam street, Tavistock, died today at his home after a long illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1887, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander McGregor He farmed in East Zorra Township until his retirement in 1946 when he moved to. Tavistock. He was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethern Church; Tavistock.
Surviving are his wife, the former Clara Grenzebach; three sons, Gordon of Embro, Howard of South Easthope, Township, Wilfred of East Zorra; four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Violet) Wiffen, Mrs. Wesley (Pearl) Noack, Mrs. George (Lenore) Wilhelm, Mrs. Rudy (Myrtle) Yecny, all of East. Zorra:. two brothers. John and Earl of Hespeler; two sisters. Mrs. Ethel Wildfong of Moose Jaw, Sask.. Mrs. Edith Weber of East Zorra: 18, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will be at his home until Saturday noon when remov at will be made to the church. Funeral will he conducted Satur day at 2 p.m. by George Sim. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
