- McDONALD, Colin - Unexpectedly, the lord provided peaceful rest to Colin McDonald, in his 75th year. He passed away on Saturday morning with his family at his side. Born in Glasgow, Scotland and after service in the British Army, Colin married Annie Green. Together they immigrated to Canada in search of a new life. Colin worked tirelessly as a Machinist at Joy Manufacturing in Cambridge and after closure, at Sanden Machines until retirement. Colin McDonald, son of Colin and Christina McDonald (both predeceased) is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annie Green; his sons, Colin of Cambridge and James (Karen) of Woodstock, Ont.; his daughters, Helen (Marc) Jowett, Ann (Al) Bolton, Isabelle (Gary) Campbell, all of Cambridge. Survived also by 14 Grandchildren. Colin will be remembered by grandchildren, Colin, Christine, Chrystal, Connory, Jessica, Aaron, Devon, Hailey, Ashlee, Dani, Branden, Kerri-Ann, Cameron and Liam and two great-grandchildren, Dawson and Aiden; sisters, Chris McBarron of Cambridge and May Williams of Scotland. Predeceased by brothers, John and Willy McDonald of Scotland, will forever hold his memory dear. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home & Cremation centre, 223 Main St., E., Cambridge today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment New Hope cemetery. Many thanks to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital (ICU) unit and the Coronary Care Staff and St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener for their kindness.
