Beloved wife of William "Bill" Verkerke of Southampton. Dear mother of Brenda and her husband Jack Stewart of Brunner, Robert Beechey and his wife Donna of Southampton and Joseph Beechey and his wife Cheryl of Cambridge. Also survived by two brothers, Arthur and his wife Olive, Mervyn and his wife Delphine and by her two sisters, Helen and her husband Nyal Shantz and Norma and her husband Abner Shantz. Loving granny of Darryl, Darren, Glennys, Alison, Mark, Leslie, Jacquie and great-granny of Taylor and Peyton. Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Joanna Lichty, by her brother, Cranson, by her sister, Bernice, by her great-grandson Jonah and by her first husband Robert F. Beechey. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, tonight (Tuesday, August 3, 2004) from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Pastor Randy Baker will officiate. Interment Southampton cemetery. A Time of Fellowship will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Expressions of Remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society.
