  TINNES, Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully, at Beechwood Manor Retirement Home, on Friday, June 27, 2008, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Tinnes, for 63 years. Loving mother of Jane of Oshawa, Robert of Kitchener, and the late Elizabeth "Betty"; grandmother of Cynthia and Jeffery and sister of Herta Patrick of Deleware and Edward and Martin of Kitchener. Elizabeth was born on October 3, 1920, in Romania, had been a resident of Cambridge since 1946, and of Waterloo from 2004 to 2008. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge and a lifelong member of the Transylvania Club of Kitchener. At Elizabeth's request, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King Street East, Cambridge on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge would be appreciated by the family.
