Tilly was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Kitchener where she was well known for making noodles and Christmas cookies for Mission fund-raising events. She also provided and supervised the many apple pies for Christ Lutheran School and St. Paul's youth group fundraisers. Tilly was known for her loving kindness and hospitality. She was well-known for her culinary delights everywhere she lived and travelled: Berlin, Edmonton, Milwaukee, and in Kitchener-Waterloo.
The family wishes to thank especially Pastor Joe Das and Pastor Mark Hartburg for their visits which she enjoyed tremendously. Also, thanks to her caring nurses, Leah and Paula, the many personal support workers , her wonderful doctors: Dr. Heather Dixon, Dr. Alex Wang, Dr. Todd Porter and Dr. Kelleher.
I know that my Redeemer lives. What a great comfort that is.
