  MRS. JOHN MCLAREN Mrs. John McLaren, a resident of Hespeler for the past 20-odd years, died suddenly on Saturday morning at the home of her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Coles, at Rodney. The late Mrs. McLaren, who was in her 76th year, was born at Crieff, Puslinch township, and had been practically a lifelong resident of the district. She was formerly Miss: Isabelle McPherson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Me- Pherson, and had resided in Hespeler for some 20 years. For the past year and a half she had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Coles at Rodney. She was a staunch. member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are her husband, John McLaren, three sons, Duncan A. McLaren and Thompson Mc- Laren of Hespeler and A. J. McLaren of Guelph, and one daugh- ter, Mrs. William R. Coles of Rodney. A sister, Mrs. W. J. Fletcher of Dundas also survives. The funeral is to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon from the home of her son and daughter- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Mc- Laren, Guelph road, where services will be conducted at 2.30 o'clock. Interment is to be in the Hespeler cemetery.
