  Walter Patterson Walter Patterson, 77, died in the Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock, on Monday, December 30. He had been a resident of the home since September, 1967. Mr. Patterson was born in North Easthope Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patterson. He farmed in North Easthope until retiring to Tavistock three years ago. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emery (Margaret) Ruthig, New Hamburg; Mrs. John (Jessie) Dewberry, Tavistock. Funeral service was held at the Francis Funeral Home in Tavistock last Wednesday. Burial took place in St. Andrew's cemetery, North Easthope. New Hamburg Independent, January 8, 1969
