  Mrs. William Steward PRESTON - Mrs. Helen R. Steward, wife of Lt. Col. Wilton Steward, secretary to the Windsor Board of Control, died suddenly Thursday in Grace Hospital, Windsor. She was well known in Preston, living here for eight years. She was born in Windsor. Mrs. Steward was president of the Ladies Auxiliary, 30th Reconnaissance Regiment (ER) Canadian Armored Corps and in that capacity served the active service club of Windsor for four years during the Second Word War. Her husband and a son, Robert, of Kingston, survive Kitchener-Waterloo Record 31 Jan 1953
