- KUEPFER, Ivan - Peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. He was formerly of Country Meadows, Brunner and Milverton and was born in Mornington Township, February 15, 1922, a son of the late Ezra Z. and Lydia (Bender) Kuepfer. Ivan was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Ivan was a kind and gentle man who had an everlasting smile for everyone he met. Ivan and Susan had farmed at Peffers until retirement. Beloved husband of the late Susan (nee Jantzi) Kuepfer who predeceased him January 22, 1994. Loving father of Laurene and Robert Bender of New Hamburg, Beatrice and Frank Marshall-Taylor of London and Elizabeth and Paul Collins of Stratford. Special grandpa of Jay and his wife Sok, James and his wife Nak and Robin and her husband Sean and great-grandpa to Kaylene, Mariah, Lorren, Taylor and Dylan. Dear brother of Lavina and (late David) Jantzi of Milverton. He is remembered by brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Catherine and (late John) Jantzi, Katie and (late Levi) Kuepfer, Lydia and Simon Albrecht and Dorothy Kipfer. Ivan was predeceased by two daughters, Ruth Ann and Esther Marie; his sister, Lottie and Rueben Kuepfer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sarah and Ed Albrecht, Menno and Elizabeth Jantzi, Tina and Earl Kipfer. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer St., Milverton today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday, April 29, 2009 transfer will be made to Riverdale Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Brown officiating. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Riverdale Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee.
