  Mrs. Jesse Leonard Mrs. Elvina Leonard, 65, wife of Jesse Leonard, died unexpectedly at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at their home at Beadle lake. She suffered a stroke at 7:30 a. m. She was born Jan. 29, 1881, in Ontario, Canada, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bowman. For the last nine- years, Mrs. Leonard had resided at Beadle lake with her husband, whom she married 43 years ago at Ionia. Besides the husband, she is survived by a son, Loren Leonard of Beadle lake; a sister, Mrs. Fred (May) Smith of Hastings; two brothers, Nelson Bowman of Port- land, Mich, and D. C. Bowman of Detroit, and six grandchildren.
