      At the Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Sunday, October 10, 1976, following a brief illness, nee Annie Kupferschmidt, formerly of Hesson, aged 79 years. A member of St. Mary's RC Church, Hesson and the CWL, also a member of St. Theresa's RC Church CWL, Elmira. Wife of the late Herbert Stemmler; and a daughter of the late William Kupferschmidt and Walberga Blesinger; mother of Mrs. Alex (Uneetta) Blesinger of Hesson, Mrs. Nelson (Esther) Kurt, Herb, Gordon and Delford, all of Kitchener, Clayton and Oscar of Brantford, Orville of Edmonton, Alta., and Elwood of Hamilton. Sister of Mrs. Herb (Emma) Kunkel of Formosa. Also survived by 47 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Marcella and two sons, Melvin and Lorne, two sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the parish rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8: 30 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home, on Wednesday at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary's RC Church, Hesson, at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's RC Church cemetery, Hesson. Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind may be made as expressions of sympathy.
