    • DEATH CLAIMS AMSDEN WOMAN

      Mrs. Minnie Bell Wilkerson, 48, wife of Elmer Wilkenson of Amsden, died suddenly Saturday evening at United Memorial hospital. She had been in ill health for some time but was seriously ill for only two hours. Her passing was a complete shock to the community and her family.
      She was horn Minnie Bell Bauman on July 29, 1895 at Sebawa township, Ionia county. On July 3, 1914, she married Elmer Wilkenson, who, with six children, survive, including four daughters, Mrs, Thelma Wolschow of Detroit, Miss Enna Wilkenson of Saginaw, Mrs. Elna Johnson of Ypsilanti and Luthala at home; two Sons, E. J.. of Ypsilanti, and Ralph. who is with the armed forces stationed at Keesler Field, Biloxic, Miss., and who is expected to arrive home by plane today to attend funeral services for his mother; also two brothers, Nelson Bauman of Portland and D. C. Bauman of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Leonard of Battle Creek. Mrs. Fred Smith of Hastings and Mrs. Louis Tessman of Harrison. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, CWT, at the Stebbins Funeral Home in Sheridan with burial in Sheridan cemetery.
