  Mr. Alfred Shantz, near Hawkesville, was also called upon to bear the loss of his wife, who died quite suddenly, from the bursting of a blood vessel, while called at a neighbor's house last Sunday. She leaves her sorrowing husband, her parents (Mrs. and Mrs. John Brox), several brothers and sisters and others relatives, who have the sympathy of the community in their sudden beceavemnt. The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
