  GOOD, Joseph C. Peacefully, on Thursday, January 15th, 2004, at his residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg and formerly of R.R.#1, Plattsville and New Dundee. He was born in Wilmot Township, 97 years ago, a son of the late Eli GOOD and Nancy CRESSMAN. He was a member of the Nith Valley Mennonite Church, 1355 Bean Rd., New Hamburg. Joseph enjoyed his time of employment with O.T. Coleman Farm Equipment after selling the farm and also appreciated interacting with people. He was predeceased by his wife Naomi (SHANTZ), on April 20th, 2000. Loving father of Floyd S. & Wilma GOOD, of New Hamburg; Mervin S. & Mary Ellen GOOD, of London; Paul S. & Beth GOOD, of New Hamburg; Marilyn and Dow PHILLIPS, of R.R.#2, Allenford; Elroy S. & Joan GOOD, of New Dundee. Ever remembered by seventeen grandchildren and forty-three great-grandchildren. Also missed by brother-in-law, Mahlon & Grace SHANTZ, of Arthur; sisters-in-law, Mary SHANTZ, of Cambridge; Anna SHANTZ, of St. Jacobs. Joseph was predeceased by a grandson, Bruce GOOD; two granddaughters in infancy; brothers, Moses and Ruth GOOD; Amos and Melinda GOOD; Jonas and Edna GOOD; sisters, Almeta and Angus GINGERICH; Melinda and Simon BRUBACHER; Annie and Angus EBY; Lizzie and Ezra BAER and a number of the SHANTZ brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Saturday, January 17th from 2: 00 to 4: 00 and 7: 00 to 9: 00 p.m. Burial will be held on Sunday, January 18th, 2004, at 1: 30 p.m., in Blenheim Mennonite Cemetery, R.R.#1, New Dundee, followed by the memorial service at Wilmot Mennonite Church, R.R.#2, New Hamburg at 2: 30 p.m. with Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Isert BENDER and Pastor Amsey MARTIN Officiating. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to Nithview Home or Mennonite Central Committee.
