  GINGRICH, Nelson - On Sunday, Aug. 20, 1989, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, following a brief illness, Nelson Gingrich, of 6 Snyder Ave. S., Elmira, in his 90th year. He was a son of the late Moses and Magdelena Gingrich. He was born February 13, 1900. Survived by two sons, Gordon and his wife Erma of Elmira and Curtis and his wife Reta of RR 4, Elmira; one daughter, Reta and her husband Angus Weber of RR 1, Wallenstein. Fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. Brother of Amos of Elmira. Predeceased by his wife, Minerva Martin; four brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p.m. today, (Monday), where the family will receive their friends tonight from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1 p.m., then to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
