  MARTIN, Israel - On Monday, May 15, 1989, at his home in Wallenstein, Israel Martin, in his 83rd year. Husband of the late Lizzie Gingrich. Dear father of Selina (Mrs. Orvie Brubacher) of R.R 1, St. Jacobs, Eileen (Mrs. George Bowman) of Floradale, Edna (Mrs. Levi Shantz) of RR 1, West Montrose, Matilda and Ivan, both at home. Four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother and six sisters also survive. Predceased by one son in infancy and two brothers. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Tuesday (today), 2-9 p.m. Removal will then be made to his home in Wallenstein, where funeral service will be held on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. (standard time), then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
