  Death of Rev. Arendt. Rev. M. Arendt, a well-known and prominent Lutheran minister passed suddenly away at his home in Kitchener on Wednesday, January 21st, at the age of 60 years. The late Rev. Arendt was born in Germany and came to America about 37 years ago. He was ordained to the ministry in 1885 and had been pastor of leading Lutheran churches in Canada and the United States. He was an ardent and untiring worker in the Christian ministry and a forceful preacher. Of late he had charge of the Lutheran church in Bridgeport. The deceased is survived by his wife and seven children. Interment took place at Kitchener, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. J. Schmieder.
