  HOLTZHAU ER, Frances - Died, peacefully, on Wednesday, August 2001, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Holtzhauer who predeceased her in 1980 and Earl Miller who died in 1960. She is fondly remembered by her sister, Eleanor Bart of New Hamburg; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sindall of Pennsylvania, and was a special aunt and sister-in-law to her much loved extended family. Fran will be especially remembered by Rose and Don Wagler and their family, whose love and affection for her is expressed in Psalm 23: 6: "Your kindness and love will always be with us". She is also survived by a step-son, Brian Holtzhauer; step-daughter, Brenda Ferrar; two grandchildren, Sheri and Tanya and her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Lottie Zurbrigg and Harry Sindall; brother, Donald Sindall and sister, Audrey Dane. Mrs. Holtzhauer was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Kitchener and a former employee of Greb Shoes. Fran's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday). The funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Margaret Avenue in Kitchener on Saturday, August 18, 2001, 11 a.m., with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. You are my God and protector.
