  Mrs. Israel D. Martin, 83, of RR 2, Wallenstein, died at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the former Lydia Ann Martin, and was born in Peel Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah B. Martin. She was predeceased by her husband in 1944. Surviving are two sons, Irvin and Elam, both of RR 2, Wallenstein, two daughters, Belinda of Elmira and Mrs. Rachael Gingrich of RR 2, Wallenstein; a sister, Mrs. Isaiah Bauman, RR 2, Wallenstein, 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Tuesday morning when removal was made to her home for funeral service Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by another service at South Peel Mennonite Meeting House.
