  SHANTZ, Mrs. Ivan E. Of 399 Church St. North, Cambridge-Preston, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, January 5, 1974, Adah Horst, beloved wife of Ivan E. Shantz and dear mother of Edith of Yarmouth, N.S., Dorene (Mrs. Stanley Gingerich) of Route 1, St. Agatha. Mrs. Shantz was born in Bloomingdale, Ontario and had lived in Cambridge-Preston 48 years, coming here from Kitchener; a member of the Preston Mennonite Church. Mrs. Shantz is survived by two brothers, Stanley Horst of Fort Erie, Lorne Horst of Kitchener; two sisters, Hilda (Mrs. Lloyd Shantz) of Hespeler and Laura (Mrs. John Stuebing) of Kitchener; predeceased by one sister. Also survived by two grandchildren. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queen and Argyle Streets, Cambridge-Preston, until noon Monday, thence to Preston Mennonite Church, for funeral service, at 2 p.m. Interment in Hagey cemetery.
