    • MASSEL, H. Leon Leon died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, sitting in his chair, talking baseball with his son, Peter. He was 78 years of age. Born at home on Park St. in Waterloo, he was the son of the late George and Melinda Kuntz Massel. Leon is survived by his brothers Raymond and Ronald (Helen Lyon); his loving wife of 55 years, Dona Paul; and their caring and supportive family: Paul (Susan Logan) and their children, Gillian, Patricia and Douglas: Peter (Donna Anstett) and their children, Scott, James and Matthew: Barton (Linda deBoer) and their children, Valerie and Todd, and their daughter, Jane (John Fullick) and their children, Eleanor, Sarah and Alice. Leon, a long time member of St. Mary's R.C Church, was an avid bridge player and sports fan. Spending time with his children and grandchildren was his first love followed by his love of music, travel and Sauble Beach. He enjoyed a good joke.
