      Berliner Journal May 6 , 1886: Died.

      On May 1st. in Linwood, Dr. J. Draper, 27 years of age, very suddenly from cramps. The deceased had during his short stay here made many friends, and his premature death is universally regretted.

      Sad Drowning at Kingston-A. Toron Man Robbed of His Jewelry-A Tilsonburg Farmer Shot.

      TILSONBURG. Jan. 1.-A Mr. Wm. Long, a respectable farmer near Tilsonburg, was shot near Courtland to-day by a young man named North. Some words had passed between them and North fired at him as he was walking beside his team. The charge entered the fleshy part of his hip. The wound was dressed by Dr. Draper, of Tilsonburg. He is expected to recover....

      May 1, 1886 Dr. J. Draper died in Linwood very suddenly, of convulsions. at age of 27 years. The deceased had made many friends during the short time he had been here and his untimely death is generally regretted.
