- Szuck, John, was born on May 19, 1908; died at Breslau, Ont., Jan. 8, 1973; aged 64 y. 7 m. 20 d. On Dec. 23, 1930, he was married to Priscilla Woolner, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Alice Roeder and Maryanne) and one son (John N.). He was a member of the Breslau Mennonite Church where funeral services were held on Jan. 10, in charge of Donovan E. Smucker; interment in Breslau Cemetery

John Szuck - At his home in Breslau on Monday January 8, 1973, after a brief illness, John Szuck age 64 years; born in Schoendorf, Romania a son of the late Mr and Mrs Anton Szuck and a resident of Breslau for the past 31 years. A member of the Breslau Mennonite Church and employed at Canada Cabinets Co. Ltd., Waterloo for 32 years.
Husband of Priscilla Woolner; father of John N, Lynn Lake Manitoba, Alice (Mrs. Kurt Roeder) Milton and Maryanne at home; brother of Tony Szuck and Barbara (Mrs Peter Ruschitzka) both of Romania; Margaret (Mrs Peter Schmitz) and Katherine (Mrs Joseph Bondan) both of Kitchener; Theresa (Mrs Victor Reinhert) of Buffalo; and the late Frank and Mrs Julia Eichhorn; grandfather of Robert Roeder.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, until 11 on Wednesday when removal will be made to the Breslau Mennonite Church for the service at 3 pm with Rev. Donovan Smucker officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Donations to the Ontario Mennonite Mission Board or the Canadian Diabetic Society may be made as expression of sympathy.
