  Oktoberfest's Mark Kreller dies at 54 WATERLOO REGION - Full of life \emdash that's how many people remember Mark Kreller. So his unexpected death overnight Monday at age 54, caused by a heart attack, came as a jolt to many. "It's an absolute shock and very sad for the community, but more importantly for his wife and family," said Kitchener Mayor Carl Zehr. Kreller sat at the helm of North America's largest Bavarian festival for the past three years.
