    • Hallman, Anson, died at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, Ont., Jan. 21, 1983; aged 95y. He was married to Esther Shantz, who preceded him in death. He later married Nellie Hagey, who also preceded him in death. Surviving are 2 sons (Ward and Lyle), one daughter (Mrs. Jean Barg), 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one brother (Edgar), and 2 sisters (Salome Shantz and Mrs. Vera Hunsberger). He was a member of First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Jan. 23, in charge of Glenn Brubacher; interment in First Mennonite Cemetery.
