  BERGE, George - Peacefully, at Fairview Mennonite Nursing Home, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, George, at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Alice (nee Kaufman). Dearest father to his five children, Raymond and his wife Loraine of Heidelberg, Joan of Bright, Ron and his wife Shirley of Bright, Marilyn and her companion Marylu McGrath of Kitchener and Cliff and his wife Martha of Woodstock. Grandpa will be sadly missed by his six cherished grandchildren, David and his wife Gail, Wayne, Stephen and his wife Donna, John and his wife Rose, Torin and Tyler; also his greatgrandchildren, Aaron, Cameron, Zachary and Hannah. George is predeceased by his two brothers, Willard and Charles and his sister, Mary. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
