      A long-time Greenfield resident, Harvey Baetz, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, March 6th. He was in his 86th year. Born in Waterloo Township, Mr. Baetz was a son of the late George Baetz and Catherine Feick. Mr. Baetz was a long-time employee of Best Foods when it operated in Greenfield. Dear husband of the late Marion Baetz 1980). Beloved father of Ruth Ann Wood, Mary Lou and her husband Earl Weber, all of Ayr and John and his wife Pearl of Hamilton; loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother of Clara Baetz and Norman and his wife Gladys, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by his sister, Almeda. Rested at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr, where funeral service was held Monday with Rev. Doug Willis officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
