- SNYDER, Joyce Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Sakura House, Woodstock. Joyce resided in New Hamburg and was born 76 years ago in Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lucy (Hamm) Meyer. Beloved wife of the late Claude Snyder who predeceased her December 15, 1987. Loving mother of Brad and Jennifer Snyder of New Hamburg, Michael Snyder and Melissa Davey of Plattsville, Greg and Laurie Snyder of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Lindsay, Brittney, Brady (Shelby), Ashten, Bryce and Logan. Dear sister of Shirley and Fred Bagg of Olds, Alberta, Gail and Ron Kotylak of Kitchener. Joyce was predeceased by her brother Calvin Meyer, sister Karen and Paul Merner. Joyce was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard, watching her boys play hockey, spending time in Cuba and was an advocate for donating blood for many years. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. for memorial visitation. The memorial service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Larson officiating. Private family interment at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Sakura House, Woodstock.
