  Mrs. Cameron Edgar Funeral service for the late Mrs. Cameron Edgar, who died in Edmonton General Hospital on January. 13th, in her 79th year, took place from the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor, Ayr, on Saturday, January 18th, interment being made in the Ayr Cemetery. Rev. R. A. Steed of Knox United Church conducted the services. Mrs. Edgar, formerly Margaret. Singer, was born in Ayr and :spent all her younger days in the village. Following her marriage in 1889, she resided in this locality for a number of years. She was predeceased by her husband 54 years, and had resided in the west for over 30 years. She was a member of Westminster United Church, Edmonton. Mrs. Edgar is survived by one son, Hector J. Edgar, of Smithers, two sisters, Mrs. Crammond Morton (Jessie), Toronto, and Mrs. J. A. Patton (Aggie), Philadelphia; one brother, Thomas Singer, Walkerton, and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. William Singer, Toronto ; Mrs. James A. Edgar, London, and Mrs. W. A. Reid, Ayr. Pallbearers were: William T. Edgar, William G. Edgar., Ernest Scott, George I. Black, Howard Reid and Richard McGrogan.
