  • Notes 
    • The late Reinhardt Dunke who passed away on Friday morning and whose funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock to the Benton street Baptist Church and to Mount Hope Cemetery, was born in Preston on Feb. 6th, 1837, and was in his 71st year. When a boy his parents moved on a farm about mile south of Berlin, and when young man he purchased and conducted the farm successfully for over 30 years, In 1888 he retired fram farming and moved to Berlin became interested in the grocery business with his son. He also purchased the desirable property, corner Church and Benton streets, where he resided.

      Deceased was twice married and is survived by a widow and four children, name Charles B., Edwin B, Ida and Clara, all of this town. Five children predeceased the father. Two brothers Henry and Jacob, of Elmira also survive.

      The deceased was of a quist and unassuming disposition and was highly respected by his friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, who will have the sympathy of a wide circle of acquaintances.
