    • W. J. Williams

      W: J. Williams, formerly of this city, passed away at St. Mary's hospital on Saturday morning at 10.30 o'clock. The late Mr. Williams, who formerly was identified with the gauntlet and glove industry of this city was 56 years of age. He was born in Mumbles, Wales, and resided in this city until last spring when he moved to Galt, later removing to Doon. He came to Canada 33 years ago. By his very pleasant disposition and kindly manner he gathered about him a host of friends who are grieved at his death and will deeply mourn his loss. He is survived by his sorrowing widow and one son, Stuart, of Doon. Four brothers and two sisters living in United States also survive him. The funeral took place this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from his residence in Doon to Blair where interment was made.
