      There passed away on Saturday morning, Mr. Valentine Heimpel at the home of his son, Mr. Jacob Heimpel near Mannheim. The deceased was a well known and respected retired farmer and has resided with his son for the past fourteen years. He was a resident for many years on a farm near Erbsville. There survive his wife. five sons and two daughters: John, Mary and Jacob near Mannheim, George of Heidelberg. Emma of Kitchener and Herb. and Henry of Waterloo.

      Mr. Valentine Heimpel passed away on Saturday morning at the home of his son, Mr. Jacob Heimpel near Mannheim, at the age of 76 years. The deceased was a well-known and respected retired farmer and has resided with his son for the past 14 years. He was a resident for many years on a farm near Erbsville. He is survived by his wife, five sons and two daughters: John, Mary and Jacob near Mannheim, George of Heidelberg, Emma of Kitchener and Herbert and Henry of Waterloo. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the residence of Mr. Jacob Heimpel to the Mannheim cemetery.
