  MARTIN, Lydia Peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at her home. Lydia Martin of R.R. # 4 Listowel and formerly of R.R. # 1 St. Clements in her 85th year. She was the wife of the late Noah H. Martin (2005). Mother of Nancy and Amos Weber of R.R. # 1 Newton, the late Aden and Minerva Martin of R.R. # 1 St. Clements, Susanna and Laverne Frey of R.R. # 1 Wallenstein, Irwin Martin of R.R. # 1 St. Clements, Mary Martin of R.R. # 4 Listowel and Alvin and Ruth Martin of R.R. # 4 Listowel. Also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Remembered by 1 sister-in-law Velina M. Martin and 1 brother-in-law Titus Bauman. Lydia was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Elizabeth (Betsy) Martin, foster parents John and Susannah Martin, step-father Noah Bauman, 2 grandsons, 2 brothers and four sisters (2 in infancy). Friends may call at her home R.R. # 4 Listowel (4171 Line 80) on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at her home on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. and then to Klearview Mennonite Meeting House for burial in the adjoining cemetery and further service.
