Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in her 85th year after a short battle with cancer. Loving wife to the late Carl Schwoob (1961) and the late Herbert Hahn (2007). Survived by children who were blessed to call her their mother, Glen (Paula) Hahn, Tom (Lois) Susan (Elmer) Reist, Carol Hahn, Ruth (Rory) Wilson, and Rose (Bob) Bezruki. Beloved grandmother to Daniel (Allison), Marie (Rick), Sara (Ben), Lisa, Jim, Lori, Debbie (Aaron), Jenny, Brad (Denise), Colleen (Richard), Steven, Dayna, Brian (Randi), Carl, (Tanya). Loving great grandmother to 20. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Michael Hahn (1996), brother Earl, and sisters Marjorie, Rita, and Lydia. June was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was one of the founding members of the church. She was retired from Grand River Collegiate Institute in the cafeteria after 25 years of service. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 and the Ladies Auxiliary for many years.Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel (51 Benton St. at Church St., Kitchener, 519-742-4481) on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (322 East Ave., Kitchener). Interment at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs. The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Village Studios for their wonderful care during her stay. Another thanks to the nurses and doctors at K-W Health Centre on the 5th floor for their care and attention.
