- MARTIN, Helen Louise - Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, November 9, 2006, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward George Martin (1985). Dear friend of John Gibbs of Kitchener. Dearest mother of Charles Albert Martin and his wife Nancy Kathryn Martin of New Hamburg and the late Carol Ann Victoria Martin. Cherished Nanny of Brent (Melissa) Martin, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Andrea Martin. Survived by her sisters Ruth Marion Pearson of Vernon, B. C. and Lotus Hammer of New Hamburg and by her nieces Kathy Brenner of Durham and Susan Forster of Elora and her nephews Charles Forster of Elora and John and David Fitzgerald, both of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents Charles August Louis Forster, a former Funeral Director/Mortician and Furniture Store Operator in Parkhill and the former Pansy Alma Watts, a former English Teacher, her brother Clinton Forster and her sister Eleanor Marguerite Fitzgerald. Helen was a positive independent thinker with a romantic twist. She was a class taught student of Christian Science at the local Kitchener Church. A private family burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at Emmanuel Village (Lower Level), 1250 Weber St. E. , Kitchener on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2 p. m. with a reception to follow.
