  SHELBY, Mrs. Olive A. On Wednesday, May 12, 1982, at Roseville, suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, the former Olive Alberta Becker, of RR 1, Ayr. aged 88 years. She was a member of Roseville United Brethren Church and a life member of the Women's Missionary Association of the church; a Sunday school teacher for many years and a charter member of Roseville-New Dundee WCTU. Mother of Mrs. Raymond (Lois) Simpson of RR 2, Fort Frances; step-mother of Mrs. Elmer (Margaret) Stolz of Alliston; sister of Myrtle Becker of Roseville, Mrs. Cranson (Beulah) Hallman of RR 1, New Dundee and Mrs. Russell (Eva) Stoltz of RR 2, Kitchener; six grandchildren, and Anne (Mrs. Joe Haddock) of Belle, Ewart. Eight great- grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Albert in 1949, a son in infancy; three brothers, Floyd, Elmer and Melvin. Funeral service was held at Roseville United Brethren Church with Rev. Dale Collier and Rev. Ray Zimmerman officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. New Hamburg Independent 19 May 1982 pg 20
