    • WIDEMAN, Rev. Clare - Died peacefully on May 29, 2009. Cherished husband of Lucille Wideman. Beloved father of Kevin (Melanie Rose-Wideman) and Bonita (David Hammond). Proud grandfather of Isaac, Connor and Renae. Dear brother of Dorothy (Bill Sittler), Ruby (Amsey Weber), Harold (Delphine), James (Christine), late Edgar (Beatrice), Carol (David Ringer) and Erma (Bob Martin). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Clare's ministry included pastoral care in the community and at the Regional Mental Health Care, London for 25 years. He was a valued professional mentor and colleague in his role as Supervisor in the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (CAPPE). Clare volunteered his time on numerous boards including, Craigwood Youth Services, Ontario Association of Children's Mental Health Centres, Ontario Chaplains Association and Sydenham Community Credit Union. Visitations will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel , 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Valleyview Mennonite Church, 1170 Melsandra Avenue, London, on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment immediately following the service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Clare are asked to consider Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Mennonite Central Committee or a charitable organization of your choice.
